At its core, Cheppers is about creating something awesome. Whether it’s building a website that perfectly balances aesthetics and functionality for our clients and their consumers, or providing a workplace that inspires and supports our team.
Our two founders, Péter Oroszvári and Gergely Csonka share this common goal and different ideas about how to reach it. This difference is what makes them work so well together, and has been the foundation of Cheppers’ strength and growth.
Péter, combining his passions for IT and business, looks at the big picture, the final product. He wants to build a better internet by providing businesses with quality web services. Gergely wants to remove the obstacles our team faces, so they can focus on delivering the best work and reach their full potential. These two approaches work cohesively to produce a better product for our clients.
The team they have built is made up of people from different backgrounds, from all over Hungary, and now, from around the world. Cheppers is built on expertise in programming, art, design, business, and communication, and these separate fields come together to produce a happy team and happy customers.

Why and How to Accelerate Your Startup
What to expect from acceleration programs and how to approach them
In the past years several banks, consultancy firms and other big corporations have been trying to attract the best startups by offering them incubation or acceleration programs. During these fixed-term programs they try to help your startup becoming successful with various tools. They might offer investment, connections, access to their client portfolio, mentoring, training on soft skills like pitching or help you find the business model most likely to prosper.
They promise a lot and you can get a lot out of these. But it is worth to know what (not) to expect from them, how they can help, how you should approach them to get in the program and how to prepare for it once you are amongst the chosen ones.
We will dive into this topic on this episode of FintechFlow podcast, which is a panel discussion on Startup Safari and which will be streamed live as a podcast on FintechFlow. I am joined by experienced guests from the field today, both from the corporate and startup scene.

The Myth About Intelligence
How a young, stupid student no one had faith in went to Cambridge
When I was still in school, teachers told me that I am stupid or untalented. Their comments almost demotivated me so that I would not go to high school at all. Yet this is nothing that only happened to me.
People hear those sentences every day: "You're not intelligent", "you are just not made for this", "that person must be a genius. You could never achieve something like her/him". I deliberately chose not to accept this truth and focussed on turning my life around, eventually achieving a top 1% grade point average, founding three companies and coaching the Dagang Olympic Math Team in China for an international Math competition. I believe that no one should be discouraged in life. Ever. I believe that no one should listen to anyone telling him or her that he can't achieve his dream. As Einstein famously put it: "You can't judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree".

Smart devices are outsmarting our privacy
KAPTÁR Highlight 1/3
Smart homes, smart TVs, smart cars, smart shoes. Product developers are pushing the "smart" tag into every device possible. Sometimes these devices have nice features which are meant to make our life easier. But what most people don't know is that there is a shift where instead of us buying a product, we are becoming the product itself. There is a reason why a smart TV is today cheaper compared to the same, but "dumb" TV. The reason is that smart TV can collect data on everything we do with the TV, and send it back to the cloud, where it is processed and resold to dozens of other companies. But should you worry about this? You will probably find the answer if you attend this presentation.
KAPTÁR is the coworking space of freelancers in the heart of Budapest. Workspace, home of developing companies, and a place for compelling meetings in the same spot, close to everything and everyone.
